Seventeen members converged on Badlesmere to focus on Edington and RTR stock.
Plenty of freight stock was in evidence together with a Pannier tank and David G’s custard and cream GWR railcar along with a tiny SDJR 0 4 0 saddle tank.

Roger and others also had a play on Edington which we will offer up for exhibiting at various exhibitions before showing it at Warley next year. Fred also took some photos of the layout for the new banner.

When not working on Edington Barry K and Paul W managed to find time to lay a bit more cork on one of the Lenham boards.

The woodwork for the proposed micro layout baseboard now lives on the storeroom counter rather than on the floor.

Other members sat at the big table, scoffed doughnuts and generally put the world to rights while allegedly doing a bit of modelling.
John D produced a dozen coupling hooks that he had very kindly made for the club which will help us to avoid the usual anguished cry of “who’s got the coupling hook”.

Over lunch we discussed updating the website and our proposed trip to Essex.

At our Open Day in July, we will run only our two layouts; Edington and Sarre, this will allow us sufficient circulation space to chat to visitors comfortably and to have a small demonstration area showing off our modelling skills.
