Wednesday 2 February

Finally after nearly two years of lock downs and Covid restrictions we were able to gather round one big table together to do some model ling , talk about some modelling we had done , talk about some modelling we were going to do and generally while away a few hours.

Paul W and Barry K carried out the necessary repairs to the circuit before moving on to align it to the new Lenham boards assisted by John P and Jack. John B and Jackie set up Sarre which also received some attention from David Ho and Roger before Ross and John P had a play with it later in the day.

When not on Sarre, John B and Jackie worked on a goods shed and a wagon respectively while Paul H racked his brains over the 3D jigsaw that was the Scorpion Models kit with which he’d been grappling for some time.

Of particular interest was how many different parts had the same part number in the instructions.

Richard, Fred and Roger had brought along some models to display and Roger finished handing over his Treasurer role to Geoff.

If you think Roger won’t now be after your money, think again he’s still looking after sales.
