A smaller than usual crowd at today’s meeting, possibly due to the rain or ‘summer’ holidays. Today’s theme was Road Vehicles and there was a good turnout of these including several busses, lorries and steam road vehicles.
The circuit was relatively quiet with Steve running an early Hudswell Clarke diesel with four wagons and Tim running in one of his Pecketts. This is currently in Green Leaf livery, but he intends to repaint and DCC chip it into a PLA loco for QCD. John P also ran his 14xx which ran well on the circuit but has been having difficulty negotiating the points on his layout at home. Peter continued to work on his PW hut and David G was working on Fred’s GWR Castle chassis. David Ho provided the refreshments. Tim
