While the Queen Charlotte Dock team set up the boards on trestles and started laying sleepers, the rest of those assembled sat around the big table and showed off some of the projects they currently have on the go.
David Gr brought in a Modern Outlines Kit of an Ivatt 4F he is building together with a coach and other bits and pieces. Roger worked on a Scale Model Scenery kit of a locomotive access platform and Geoff brought in some industrial tank engines.
In case Roger didn’t have enough modelling to do, the impressive girder bridge on Queen Charlotte dock has now been passed back to him to refurbish and restore to its former glory.
Later Geoff spoke about the forthcoming Gauge O Guild AGM and Roger advised us of a talk to be given in Sheerness (I think) on the Sheppey Light Railway.
During the afternoon we added to our stock of David’s when David Goldfinch arrived. David had first come along to our Open Day in July where we must have done something right as he has decided to sign on and join our happy band.
As usual David Ho kept up the supply of teas and coffees and Ross moved round taking sneaky pictures when nobody was looking. Chris
