Today was a free day on the Circuit with no particular focus so people ran whatever they wanted. Many diesels were in evidence including Fred’s Warship Class which after some initial coaxing fairly raced around. Sean ran his Class 33, Steve ran his Class 25 and David G ran his 4COR set. Steam appeared in amongst all this as Fred ran some LMS locos and John B ran his pannier tank hauling a train of a variety of wagons.

Steve, John B and Paul H sat at the big table working at various projects and Doug having bought our layout Sarre earlier in the year brought in various surplus buildings from that layout which were quickly snatched up.
There were not a great many matters to discuss over lunch apart from running through the arrangements for Open Day which by the time you read this will have been and gone.
Martin reported that he may have a buyer for the OO layout gifted to us recently and subsequent to the meeting the deal was done and the layout passed on to a hopefully ecstatic youngster and new adherent to our hobby.
Finally, today’s catering team of David Ho, Bill and Tim provided everybody with teas and coffees until we headed homewards. Chris
